#100 Kotoku-in Temple Grounds, Kamakura

OFF THE BEATEN PATH. Hidden deep within the the temple grounds of Kotoku-in, this expertly preserved shrine is located just a few steps from the famous giant Buddha of Kamakura, and is surrounded by a centuries old forest.

#99 Wat Lokayasutharam, Ayutthaya

SLEEPING BUDDHA. This reclining Buddha is one of the most common and iconic Buddha statues in this former capital of Thailand. Visit Wat Lokayasutharam as part of a tour under the tourism agency of the Ayutthaya.
